With a population of around 100,000, Chinatown is the largest concentration of Chinese in the West. Lured in by the Gold Rush, many settled here instead in what has become a teeming thriving neighborhood where you can sample all manner of food, meander amongst fruit n fish market and buy all manner of knickknack to suit your pocket.
